NetOp provides a fast, reliable way to access multiple PCs with extensive built-in features to ensure safe remote control and support of all your PCs and servers
Move Expertise – Not People NetOp Remote Control was designed specifically to meet the needs of IT professionals who require impenetrable security, scalability and real-time speed to control distant PCs over the Internet, networks or via modems. Maybe that is why, according to International Data Corp. (IDC), NetOp has become the “fastest growing remote control product” in the world. NetOp offers organizations of all sizes a rapid return on their remote control investment by providing lightning fast speed, advanced security options and rock solid stability not found in other remote control solutions.
With NetOp Remote Control you can easily reach any Windows, Linux, Sun Solaris, Mac or legacy OS/2 and DOS PC from the comfort of your desktop PC, IE browser, Tablet PC, Pocket PC or now even a USB thumb drive. View the remote PC’s screen, control its keyboard and mouse, synchronize files, inventory its hardware and software, launch applications or chat with someone at the remote PC - just as if you were seated in front of that computer. NetOp's Remote Management Console - provides single-click access to drives and folders, tasks, events, services, registry and more - without having to interupt the remote user.
What's more, NetOp Remote Control offers the most comprehensive security on the market to help you better meet today's auditing and compliancy requirements. Besides traditional local security features such as password protection, view only mode, user notification and automatic call-back, NetOp provides support for Windows Security Management (including LDAP and Active Directory) and offers an optional NetOp Security Server which provides centralized security, administration, logging and authentication for all your NetOp users. NetOp also has the highest encryption levels available. Plus, only NetOp offers the NetOp Gateway Server module – providing a secure inbound/outbound software router for NetOp traffic, which helps you “Move Expertise – Not People.”

Run Guest from a USB thumb drive without installation on temporary PC
Collect hardware and software inventory information from Host PCs for asset management.
Transfer Host sound to let the Guest user hear the Host speakers, Compliant with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act.

Local authentication - set a default password for all Guest users, or set individual Guest IDs and passwords
Centralized authentication and security for Windows platforms using the Microsoft Windows NT Domain, Microsoft Active Directory, Directory Services via LDAP or NetOp Security Server for all supported platforms.
Security roles limit what Guest users can do; managed locally or centrally. Stealth mode hides Host from the user.
Confirm access and multiple notification options - Hosts can allow or deny Guest access and/or be alerted by message or tone when being controlled
Local or centralized logging of over 100 activities. Session Recording for later playback.
MAC/IP address check filters access based on Guest's MAC or IP address. Maintenance password - protects the Host & Guest configuration.
Security Server Module: Centralized authentication and security management for all of your NetOp Guest and Host modules. Even more logging capabilities than are already built in to the NetOp Guest and Host modules. Can use RSA Tokens to allow two-factor authentication, and can create security roles based on job function. Integrates easily with your current directory services infrastructure. If you are dealing with all of the new laws and regulations regarding access to IT data, then the Security Server is a MUST, and will be of great assistance in your efforts to become compliant with all the current regulations.
Gateway Module: Multi-Protocol NetOp software router that has many uses including support for up to 200 simultaneous connections to internal DHCP computers through a single port, backup dial-in access if Internet or WAN connection is down, communication in clustered Terminal Server or Citrix environments, secure access to sensitive internal networks for remote administration and maintenance.
Name Server Module: Acts as a DNS server for NetOp Guests and Hosts. This allows the Guests and Hosts to communicate in large DHCP environments and in networks with many VLANs or that are segmented by routers. It also enables easy connections over the Internet. Danware Data also provides access to a free Name Server on the Internet for limited implementations such as supporting single customers behind a DSL router.
