Input Devices
Turning Technologies is dedicated to working with many of the leading Hardware Platforms available in the industry to supply audience response keypads and wireless voting systems. Currently, we support the Fleetwood Family of Reply Radio Frequency Keypads, PRS Infrared Keypads, and CPS Infrared Keypads. To see detailed specifications of these platforms click on the links located on the left.
Turning Technologies will be introducing the support of additional hardware as it becomes available. Currently we are pleased to announce our latest project soon to be shipping which is a new, "Software Only" solution that can work with your existing wireless networked PDA's, PC's or even wired PC's over your network or the Internet using our TurningPoint "Remote" software applet titled "vPad".
- Response Card Audience Response Keypad
Response Card is optimized for the small, medium and large classroom, boardroom and focus group. Light and compact enough for consultants, presenters, and trainers to carry with them when they travel (Keypads and receiver fit into a custom fit three ring binder carry case).
TurningPoint can achieve two-way verification for the Response Card systems via a grid that is displayed on the screen. As each participant enters a new response or changes a previous response their keypad ID block will acknowledge the response by changing its appearance.
- Vpad Group Response Software
"vPad" is a group response software application that works with Turning's flagship software product "TurningPoint".
The "vPad" application can be installed on standard networked devices and functions as a "virtual" keypad to allow those devices to operate in the same way as the other wireless "keypads" that Turning supports and distributes. "vPad" operates on PDA's, notebooks, and desktop PCs in wired or wireless environments including the Internet.
In addition, "vPad" adds text entry capabilities (Fill-in-the-Blank and Essay questions) that cannot be accomplished with most proprietary keypads. vPad also supports Text Messaging, Moment-to-Moment polling, Fastest Responses Slides where point values diminish as time runs off of the countdown.
There are three versions of the "vPad" application; a participant version for PDA's, a participant version for PC's/Laptop's, and an Instructor PDA version that enables the instructor to control their presentation from anywhere in the room. Instructors can advance their presentation forward or backwards, re-poll questions, add "on-the-fly" questions during a lecture, cross-tab current questions against previously polled questions, navigate TurningPoint's Participant Monitor, and control just about anything they could do from the host computer.
- Standard Reply Audience Response Wireless Keypad
Recognized worldwide as the workhorse of the Reply product family. Consists of handheld numeric keypads and a small, easily transported base station. Primarily used in applications that require participants to answer questions with numeric and/or multiple choice responses (such as during interactive meeting, training, survey, auditing/assessment, game show, and market research activities).
Incorporates two-way radio and a unique response acknowledgment function to positively confirm that a user’s entry was accepted by the system. An international version, Reply Export, is also available.
- Standard Reply EZ Audience Response Wireless Keypad
Entry-level product. Similar to Standard Reply, but has fewer features and costs less. Group sizes and user entries are optimized for classroom, boardroom, and focus group applications. Reply EZ uses a highly reliable one-way transmission to the base station. Although highly reliable, TurningPoint can achieve two-way verification for the Reply EZ system via a grid that is displayed on the screen.
As each participant enters a new response or changes a previous response their keypad ID block will acknowledge the response by changing its appearance.
- CPS Audience Response Wireless Keypad
CPS classroom response system is optimized for the small to medium sized classroom, boardroom and focus group. Light and compact enough for consultants, presenters, and trainers to carry with them when they travel.
TurningPoint can achieve two-way verification for the CPS systems via a grid that is displayed on the screen. As each participant enters a new response or changes a previous response their keypad ID block will acknowledge the response by changing its appearance.
