Description

The VZ-8light² is a second edition of WolfVision's popular VZ-8 Visualizer series. The names of the visualizer series remain the same with only the superscripted number 2 added, but this unit has major upgrades with a newer and more modern design as well as many new features.

The name VZ-8 series is so familiar, that it would be a mistake to change them completely. This is because the previous units have become synonymous with the term state-of-the-art in a large number of universities, schools and enterprises worldwide.

The VZ-8light² features state-of-the-art picture quality with XGA resolution and 30 frames per second, USB 2.0, easy handling as well as many other very useful features:

100% Reflection free Working Surface / Slide-through:
The upper part the working surface where the light is normally reflected into the camera, now has a slightly curved surface, so that reflections are not possible on any part of the working surface. The new, flat design also allows moving objects around on the whole working surface without any obstacles. Even oversized documents can be moved to the back without being blocked by the device.

24x Zoom (12x Optical and 2x Digital):
WolfVision's optical 12 times zoom offers the possibility to pick up objects as large as an open book (370 x 276mm / 14.6" x 10.9") and as small as a stamp (33 x 25mm / 1.3" x 1") in full size to fill the screen.

High Speed Autofocus:
High speed autofocus through special WolfVision software, analyzes 30 frames per second and recognizes every object quickly and precisely.

Portable:
The Visualizer alone weighs only 5 kg (11 lbs). With the carrying case and power pack, it still weighs only 7.8 kg (17 lbs)!
