Touchboards would like to introduce the next generation Teachers Tool, the Elmo TT-02RX. This new model is replacing the top selling ELMO TT-02S, and includes a few key upgrades that will give the end user a better picture and more connectivity options. The TT-02RX is essentially a more refined document camera that will ultimately give the user better performance while still retaining a very economical price point. The body of the unit is exactly the same as the TT-02S so it still remains lightweight and very portable for teachers that travel or would like to move the unit from class to class. The main enhancement with the TT-02RX is a better picture quality which is achieved by a higher rated sensor and more “frames per second” (known as FPS.) The new unit has a CMOS 1.39 mega-pixel sensor which is an improvement over the 850,000 pixels found on the last generation unit. Elmo raised the “frames per second” from 20 to 30 which will give the user smooth and natural movement. The video will not be “choppy” and you will not have delays when you move something under the camera. This is particularly important for teachers that show more than text from books and magazines.
