The Hitachi CP-X807 3LCD projector offers brilliant, crisp images at 5,000 ANSI lumens and a 1000:1 contrast ratio. Images are displayed via a 1.2x manual zoom lens, with a throw distance of up to 42.4 feet.

With Hitachi's proprietary PJMan software, the CP-X807 can be remotely controlled and maintained through a LAN connection, providing the ability to control and monitor the projectors remotely. The network functionality also makes it easy to control multiple projectors in different rooms and to monitor for functions such as remaining lamp life. Additionally, the CP-X807 offers an optional wireless card that enables easy wireless connectivity. Using Hitachi’s proprietary E-Shot function, users can transfer still images from a PC to the projector over a network. The projector is compatible with the optional lenses from the CP-X600 series. The simple manual lens shift mechanism provides for fast and efficient installation in all situations while keeping weight and complexity to a minimum, helping to improve reliability still further.

To further reduce maintenance costs the network management software allows users to control, diagnose, monitor and manage projectors via email alerts or through a browser interface from anywhere on the network. This makes scheduled tasks more effective and reduces impromptu maintenance cases.

The CP-X807 is Hitachi's first projector to offer an HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface) input, allowing for the transmission of uncompressed digital audio/video streams. The CP-X807 offers a USB reader enabling PC-less presentation, as well as a full range of connectivity options such as composite, component, and S-Video. Four built-in 4-watt audio outputs provide a total of 16 watts of audio. A Kensington slot and security bar soundly helps to prevent theft, as well as a transition detector (a sensor located inside the projector that recognizes when the projector has been moved).
