The U7-132 is the new high lumen projector from PLUS. Texas Intruments' next-generation DLP DDR chip, an updated design, improved optics, and many more improvements to every feature. Use of the new DDR dramatically improves the projector's contrast with a high 2000:1 ratio. PLUS's unique Advanced Color Wheel (ACW) preserves brightness, while allowing for greatly enhanced color reproduction and astoundingly clear picture quality.
Advanced, next generation features standard on the U7-132 include the following: RS232 controls, manual and digital zoom, "Eco-Mode," increasng lamp life by up to 30%, and an on-screen timer to make sure your presentations stay on track.
The U7-132 offers support for the latest video standards including 480p, 576p, 720p and 1080i HDTV imaging and allows for video input from sources including component (YCbCr, YPbPr), S-video and composite video.
Further protect your investment: the U7-132 can be set to require the input of a password at startup. We recommend affixing a label to your projector indicating that it is password-protected to prevent tampering or theft. Also, the standard security cable slot is featured on all PLUS projectors.
Contrast Ratio:
An incredible Light/Dark contrast at 2000:1! Black is black, and white is white. This provides clearer images of text and fine drawings than other low-contrast projectors with the same brightness, also allowing fine gradations of expression with photographs and other images.
Advanced Color Wheel (ACW):
The Advanced Color Wheel (ACW) is a PLUS technology that allows for greater enhancement of color reproduction. Specifically, it addresses the yellow and red shift that is common to most business projectors. Using the ACW, yellows and reds appear bright and saturated -- not muddy.
Digital Zoom Feature:
This function projects the point you want to emphasize most on the screen, and allows greater control with a scrolling feature while zoomed in.
