Innovative WNST-2-FS-H-BLK-124 Dual Monitor Workstation

Winston Work Station Dual

5.0

This thing is just awesome. I'm one of those people that researches everything extensively before I spend a dime. I want the best for my buck. The Winston does everything it's supposed to and does it really well. It's super sturdy, looks gangster in the office, and I just love having the option to sit or stand while working. IMHO this is the best desktop sit/stand workstation available. The only other one that comes close is the Kangaroo Elite from Ergo Desktop and I'm super happy I got the Winston. A co-worker just picked up the Kangaroo and while it's very nice, it's just not as good overall as the Winston. Here's why I say that:

Winston: PROs - It is very solid feeling, very nice and clean looking, the desktop is huge, the button to raise/lower is more easily accessed, the little tray on the desktop is a great addition, the cable management is a nice touch, everyone in my office is jealous. CONs - The monitor arm can't be adjusted on the fly, but once the height is dialed in, there's really no reason for me to want to adjust it. While it raises easily, it lowers somewhat easily. It takes a little bit of oomph to get it started at times, but not really an issue for me. I got the one that supports 44lbs and my monitors don't weigh nearly that much, which is why it may require a little muscle to lower. The work surface could maybe be a nicer looking material. Assembly instructions are great, but it takes some time to put together, maybe a couple hours tops. I like doing that kind of stuff, so not a big deal to me.

Kangaroo: PROs- It looks a bit nicer. It has a wood patterned desktop in different colors, the aluminum stack looks cool, there are additional desktop additions you can add as an option, the brakes and raising/lowering work very well, the monitor arm is free to move up and down too, easy to assemble. CONS - The base is too light, no cable management (but that can be remedied with zip ties) the desktop is smaller, it's not as sturdy, wobbles, and I wouldn't want to lean on it much. But that can be fixed with the separate support arm that you can put under the desktop for support, which I personally wouldn't want to bother with.

There you have it. You can't really go wrong with either one, you'd just be more right with the Winston.
