I shopped high and low for the right projector for my need. Since my application is live stage environment, I needed one that is portable and also versatile.

I spoke to tech supports at ALL projector manufacturers (yes, all of them). From ultra-short throw to long throw I looked at all specs.

Finally, I narrowed down to one projector for the my need. Although the Optoma EH200ST is not an ultra-short throw, it is perfect. It can expand to 300" wide at about 5-6 feet. I tested it out with my kids and got the wow factor. Now on to live stage event. For short throw solution with wide screen coverage, you won't go wrong with this very portable solution.
