We recently purchased two of these mobile desks. They are very sturdy and work great in our spaces. We wanted better visibility of two areas and these are much taller than a standard desk and allow staff to sit in a tall stool or to stand. They can do the work that needs to be done and see all of the patrons in the space from the higher sight line. When paired with a laptop unit, they can move around the areas if needed to further monitor the rooms. The fact that they lock means they are able to have all of the files and information they need even if they move from their normal space.
