About

Masters in motorized mounts
Since the introduction of interactive technologies about a decade ago, teaching methods have begun to change. A clear shift is noticeable from the traditional teacher-centered education towards a student-centered approach, in which group work is encouraged and students learn through interaction and collaboration. This changing approach requires more mobile and flexible teaching solutions.

Conen's mounting solutions give everyone the opportunity to participate. The height adjustable mounts allow for the board or display to be smoothly raised or lowered and provide teachers and students an optimum ergonomic and writing position.

Why height adjustable?
Conen--AdjustableWhether wall mounted or mobile, Conen adjustable solutions allow for everyone to participate. With up to 28” of vertical height adjustment, even those in early grades or in wheelchair can access the board. For small group learning activities or for situations that require a portable solution, Conen offers a variety of height adjustable mobile stands. Conen solutions are developed to help schools transition from traditional to interactive technologies.
Conen mounts accommodate any interactive technology, whether interactive projector, interactive whiteboard or flat panel display and allow for future upgrades. This makes Conen a long-term investment, allowing for budget to be freed-up and spent somewhere else. If you are ready to take interactivity to a whole new level, complement your technology with a Conen adjustable mount.

Conen-Compatible-Interactive-TechnologyCompatible with any interactive technology
Conen motorized mount solutions allow for a max. 330 lbs. weight load. The systems work with any interactive technology, whether board and projector or heavy 84” display. Counter weight or spring tension mechanisms come with a specific set of weights or springs to balance the weight of the system. Any change in weight load, for example by adding speakers, or if a projector is being exchanged, may cause for the system to not work properly. With Conen’s motorized mount solution, weight load changes are not an issue. Up to a maximum 330 lbs. weight load, Conen mounts will allow for anything to be added.

Maintenance free
Another benefit of a motorized solution is that the system does not require any maintenance. Whereas a spring tensioned mechanism tends to lose its tension over time and requires for a system to be rebalanced, a motorized solution is maintenance free.

Conen-ADA-CompliantADA compliant
The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) ensures access to the built environment. To prevent hazards to people with vision impairments, the safety standards limit the protrusion of objects into circulation paths. These standards also address the accessibility and maneuvering clearance of elements, such as displays, so that all users can take a full advantage of all their features. All Conen's mobile and wall mounted solutions comply with the requirements of the ADA Standards.

Flat panel mounts
Conen offers two type of flat panel mounts (motorized and static). The static flat panel mounts are fixed in height. They consist of an aluminum center column and a sheet metal display mount with VESA mounting pattern. The box style display mount allows for the hardware and cables to be stored neatly behind the display. An optionally available lockable cover is available to close the box frame. The center column features leveling feet and 2 brackets to secure the column to the wall.

The motorized flat panel mounts offers the same features like static flat panel mounts. The only difference is it can be adjusted according to the user's desired height. Mounting is quick and easy. Both types of flat panel mounts are available with mobile cart.

Interactive whiteboard mounts
Conen interactive whiteboard mounts consist of different types, such as spring operated wall mount, spring operated mobile system, manual column system, motorized column system and motorized & mobile column system.

The spring operated mount offers a smooth and easy height adjustment at any time. It is available in a light version (p/n "HVL") for lighter version IWB and in a stronger version (p/n "HVM") for use with heavier types of boards and/or when additional whiteboard wings are attached to the system.

The spring operated mobile system is also available in a light version (p/n "HVM") for use with heavier types of boards and/or when additional whiteboard wings are attached to the system. The strong, mobile stand provides mobility. Thanks to the large 10 cm/4-inch castors, the system is easy and safely to maneuver.

The manual column system consists of a set of 280cm/102-inch extruded aluminum columns with metal counter weights, a board specific IWB frame and a projector arm with mount. A sturdy, board specific, frame guarantees perfect fit and maximum support for the board. The integrated projector arm support accommodates any of the available “G2” type of projector arms. The projector arm is securely supported by the upper and center frame member and guarantees a stable projector projection image.
