The Promethean AB6T78 ActivBoard Touch Interactive Whiteboard brings together intuitive multi-touch interactivity and Promethean’s award-winning software to facilitate engaging, effective learning experiences. Up to six students or a teacher and a group of students can work simultaneously and collaboratively with ActivBoard Touch’s multi-user functionality, promoting collaboration and student engagement.
It features 78" nominal size and comes with a standard board surface. It provides accurate and fast six-touch sensitivity through infrared transmitters and sensor arrays concealed in the frame. With ActivBoard Touch, there’s no need to remove or replace the stylus in a tray or make a selection in the software. Just grab the stylus or ready your finger; the functionality of each is the same on ActivBoard Touch.
Power for the ActivBoard Touch is taken from the USB 2.0 connection, which links to a connected PC via a USB-A to USB-B cable. No separate power supply is required for the board. It is is provided with a license for ActivInspire Professional, which is activated through a serial number label located on the edge of the board. The ActivBoard Touch operates with ActivInspire running under Windows operating systems (XP, Vista, Windows 7 and 8), Mac OSX 10.6 - 10.8 (Snow Leopard, Lion, Mountain Lion) and Linux Ubuntu 12.04. The six-touch ActivBoard Touch is offered as board only or can be ordered with an upgrade kit for a mount with projector.
