WolfVision vConnect iPad App

 

vConnect is an innovative new software app for iPad that greatly enhances the functionality and usability of our new VZ-9 Series and VZ-C6 Visualizers. Once you have downloaded the free vConnect app, simply connecting your iPad wirelessly to the WolfVision Visualizer enables the iPad to be used as a multimedia touchscreen control dashboard during a presentation, lecture or recording session.

Multimedia Information Sharing: All media types, such as PDFs, videos, webpages, PowerPoint, etc., can be integrated and controlled from a single device, allowing material stored either locally on the iPad or in Dropbox to be added seamlessly into presentations.

Why vConnect? Connecting an iPad to a compatible WolfVision Visualizer allows it to be used as a multimedia control dash board during a presentation or lecture. The easy-to-use recording functionality of vConnect also enables entire presentations to be recorded, and saved to the iPad. A Live Image Preview shows exactly what the audience sees onscreen at all times and wireless connectivity allows presentations or lectures to be delivered from anywhere in the room.

The annotation feature is ideal for making notes, sketching, and highlighting documents, charts, and pictures. A dedicated whiteboard function also provides a separate space for making and displaying notes on-screen during a presentation.

Network Security

vConnect supports WEP, WPA, and WPA2 wireless security protocols, enabling straightforward integration into an organization‘s existing wireless infrastructure, or alternatively connection is possible by setting up a secure ad-hoc wireless network with WPA/WPA2 encrypted security. Single User Authentication ensures a quick and easy wireless connection between tablet and Visualizer, and prevents any third party from interrupting the connection during a presentation.

HD Video recording The easy-to-use recording functionality of the vConnect app lets you record your entire presentation including any external content, (eg. PDFs, videos, PowerPoint slides, etc.) with audio, and save it to your iPad's memory. It's the ideal all-in-one HD recording solution.
Snapshot function Save snapshots to your iPad - for easy storage and distribution. You can choose to take pictures of either a single active window in the presentation, or save an image of the contents of the entire current dashboard.
Unlimited Presentation Content Five different content sources can be previewed in advance, ensuring smooth switching between different materials, and extra content can be prepared in the bottom toolbar ready for use.
Wireless connectivity Control your presentation or lecture from anywhere in the room. Easy installation options allow you to take advantage of existing wireless infrastructure or alternatively set up using a secure ad-hoc wireless network.
Cloud Storage Presentation content is always easily available, and recorded material can be quickly uploaded for online publication when required.
Live annotation Annotate any part of your presentation content – perfect for making notes, sketching, and highlighting documents, charts, and pictures. In addition, a ‘virtual’ whiteboard function provides a dedicated space for making and displaying notes onscreen during a presentation.
Freedom to Present In addition to displaying 'live' Visualizer content, a wide variety of other material can also be easily incorporated into your presentation or lecture. vConnect supports the following file types: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Numbers, Pages, Keynote, PDF, JPEG, PNG, GIF, .m4v, mp4, .mov. Webpages can also be easily shown onscreen during a presentation simply by navigating to them using the vConnect integrated web browser.
