Maxell MC-AX3506 is a new Ultra Short Throw LCD Projector, replacing the needs, and serving as an ideal alternative to the now discontinued Hitachi CP-AX2505. Simply put, the Maxell MC-AX3506 is a direct upgrade to the Hitachi CP-AX2505.

While both projectors offer 3LCD, 3 chip technology, XGA - 1024 x 768 resolutions, and similar input/output AV capabilities, the Maxell MC-AX3506 offers higher brightness; 3,800 ANSI lumens offered by Maxell MC-AX3506 compared to 2700 ANSI lumens featured in the Hitachi CP-AX2505. The higher white & color light inputs make the Maxell MC-AX3506 a great choice for bigger rooms where high brightness levels is a necessity for a clearer picture.

Hitachi CP-AX2505’s key features like Accentualizer, HDCR (High Dynamic Contrast Range), ImageCare Technology, Perfect Fit 2, and Intelligent Eco and Saver Modes have all trickled down to the Maxell MC-AX3506.
