The Hovercam provides another dimension for integrating the SmartBoard into classroom instruction. At first the teachers were not sure how easy it would be to use, or how relevant to what they were teaching but when it arrived they were thrilled. Last year the HoverCam was shuttled back and forth so often that our teachers asked the PTO to purchase a second one and then a parent who had seen how beneficial the document camera was in her own son's classroom donated the money to buy a third. Our goal is now to raise the money to have one in each classroom so no more sharing!
