I am the Territory Manager for Touchboards. I attend all of the trade shows and conferences. I also do all on site presentations and demonstrations.
Here are my thoughts on the HoverCam T3 document camera.
Size-This document camera is very portable with a small footprint so that it will not take up a lot of space on your desk. It also folds up and fits into a soft pouch that is included.
Images- the T3 has a 3MP camera that produces images that are very comparable to cameras that cost hundreds of dollars more. The camera will capture a 8.5”x11” area.
Software-The T3 comes with the HoverCam Flex software installed in the camera. It will ask you to install the first time you plug the document camera into your computer. The software is very intuitive and easy to use. It works with Windows XP/Vista/7 and MAC. Some of the functions that the software will allow you to do are; scan, record, turn the image, zoom, annotate, and capture images with time lapse or motion detection.

USB- Since this document camera is software driven; it must go through your computer. This works well when you have an interactive board already hooked up.
Included items-It comes with a soft pouch for storage, a 4.3ft USB cable, and a positioning mat. This mat is nice for use on tables that have a glare from overhead lights.
The HoverCam T3 is a great document camera for the price.
